Prora, on the Baltic Sea. Mysterious, endless. In this deserted former Nazi holiday camp, German and French teenagers Jan and Matthieu embark on an adventure that confronts their identities and puts their friendship at risk.

A journey of self-exploration, an odyssey of male adolescence, Prora is a tender story about love and friendship.

  1. Interesting short video, “oldie but goodie” from two or three years ago (josh presenting it to us). Also interesting location — I was (am) surprised such stallworthy buildings weren’t ‘repaired’ and used for more housing instead of just being World War II dilapidated relics. I hope it wasn’t just because the Nazis built them — they also made the VW Beetle and it was still made, used and cherished looooong after the war.

  2. Also, if you look this up in YouTube, you can also find another video showing how they used a drone camera to film over and around these buildings (and I think on the beach as well, but not sure). Worth a view if you’re at all interested in video work.

  3. Wow blonde has such a blinding smile and very sensuously acted, almost a silent movie. Haunting architecture.

  4. The bldgs. Are probably historical historical sites. As for VW you might be interested to know that Adolf Hitler had a major hand in designing that car and named it the Volkswagen meaning the people’s car thank you.
