“if only more could not only listen but actually hear…”

I think you meant to say: if only more could not only hear but actually listen…

“Nope but thanks for your useless input.”

It’s sad that you feel that intelligence is such a “useless input.” To Wit:

          Hear and Listen to:

Hear– you do this without thinking. It is inactive.
Example- When I leave my home every morning, I hear Penboy because I prefer to put him down instead of learn anything.

Listen to- this is an active word. You must think about what you are doing.
Example- I really should listen to Penboy when he tells me about my errors.

          You can see this here:

  1. Nicely done, and it hopefully will be useful in making a few people be more tolerant of others.

Just as many people don’t understand what it’s like to be gay, I don’t truly understand what it’s like to be transgender, but that doesn’t mean we can’t accept them and love them as they are.

  2. I have never been a fan of poetry, but this poetry is an exception. I find it uplifting and sad at the same time. The poetry invokes so many emotions. It deserves any and all awards it received.
