  1. Every time the “Periodical Political Post” comes, i’m glad my parents immigrated to Sweden and had me here

  2. re: Lawyer proposes ‘Kill the Gays’ law in California

As so many of the comments for this said, this “law” won’t get past the first stage of required 30-day public review period.

This “lawyer” is clearly mentally ill and as the article noted, he’s clearly a deranged wingnut.

    As the article stated,

Wonkette dug into McLaughlin’s background, and he appears to be the same Matt McLaughlin who in 2004 tried to force an initiative onto the ballot that would have required the state’s public schools to hand out Bibles to students.

As I have stated so many times before, religions brainwash so deeply they actually cause mental illness (this is a fact).

  3. re: Gay ‘cure’ camp found guilty of killing teenage boy

This is so sick on so many levels. I didn’t know that South Africa had religious extremists such as these sick people. I have always assumed that since they had elected Nelson Mandela as President, their people were more “progressive”. I guess not, sadly.

It’s tempting to say that these idiot parents that sent their boy to this dispicable place, “deserve” to lose their child, but of course not, we can’t think such things because their son is more important than his parents.

I’m glad to see that he was convicted. But he escaped any conviction for murdering 2 other boys in 2007 or prior. I hope he gets life imprisonment without any chance of parole. And I hope that in prison he gets a bit of his own “medicine” from some of the other convicts.

  4. PERU > One step back.
    SLOVENIA > One step forward.
SUD AFRICA > This is why I support the death penalty. Anything less would elevate the lives of these monsters above the lives of their victims. So, for the sake and memory of these lost boys, get a rope!
INDIANA > The conflict between the Constitution’s protection of the free exercise of religion, and the government’s obligation to the general public when it issues a business license, will continue until the Supreme Court finally and definitively rules on the matter.
UGANDA > Few if any places in Africa are safe for anybody that lives there, let alone members of the LGBT community in Uganda. If I were living in Africa, I’d do whatever it took to get out, legally or illegally.
KILLING TRANS-WOMEN > If you’re considering getting sex-reassignment surgery, consider also getting a CCW permit. Girls will be boys and boys will be girls, It’s a mixed up, muddled up, shook up world, so, to all the dear Lolas out there, don’t be a victim. Lock & load. Remember honey, it is appropriate to carry a concealed weapon any time you are likely to come into the presence of any other person. Better safe than sorry…or dead.
KILL THE GAYS > Geeezus, you can’t make this stuff up. How did this jerk ever get licensed to practice law? What an embarrassment to the profession, but then, we have lawyer jokes for a reason – they’re richly deserved. Thankfully, we don’t have to take this seriously.
JAPAN > About to take another step forward.

    1. @horsey:
“KILL THE GAYS > Geeezus, you can’t make this stuff up. How did this jerk ever get licensed to practice law?”

People like you give idiots like him the money necessary for schools and their professions to get started. After that, people like you hire idiots like him for assinine lawsuits against good people like many gays and atheists just because you’re too stupid to understand the truth about religion.

      [in a nutshell]

  5. Gay ‘cure’ camp found guilty of killing teenage boy

Is it me or has anyone else never seen the parents responsible for their kids dying in those death camps?

    @Penboy

“”This “lawyer” is clearly mentally ill and as the article noted, he’s clearly a deranged wingnut.””

So was Hitler. That didn’t stop him from having followers.

    1. @Dan:
“So was Hitler[, but t]hat didn’t stop him from having followers.”

[Along with N. Korea’s Kim Jong-un.] So true and that’s the crux of it, isn’t it? Basically, stupid populaces. There should be enough “free thinkers” in each of all these situations [including ISIS] to difuse these idiots, but there’s never any [brain chemical] reactions.

      1. It isn’t about stupid people. In fact it never was. It’s about power. Power hungry people will gravitate around people they perceive as powerful… so they can serve! Even if it means burning kids alive. Hitler’s power was possible only because he found goons ready and willing to kill to first protect him and then commit genocide in his own name. They, the powerful, never wield a sword but they do wield the people that carry a sword in their own hands. Just like a pope used to a few hundred years ago and the same way today’s fundamentalist imams do or… presidents and kings do and of course preachers.

I will give you this. There comes a time when the people should question the teachings and orders of their leaders, no matter who they are but people will often refuse to THINK and question. But then again, there is this thing called fear. They fear their own leaders and preachers. And this is where little Johnie is asked to snitch on mom and pop and his brothers and sisters and his neighbours and………..

That is the reason I used the word “stupid”.
