  1. Same sex couples will be able to legally marry from January 9, 2018, not 2019 as stated in the article.

  2. AUSTRIA: It gets better.
    SCOTLAND: Better late than never.
STUDY DBL DISCRIMINATION: Something to consider before transitioning.
US TAX PLAN: Whine, whine, whine. Make America Great Again!
COLLEGE CLOSET: Heck, I’m still in the closet and I’m a senior citizen. Sexuality, sexperimentation, orientation and preference are all personal, private subjects.Hey, teacher, leave them kids alone.
REFORM SCHOOL ABUSE: Like the article says – “A glaring lack of oversight from state and local authorities.”
POLICE KILLINGS: The vast majority (something over 99%) of police killings are good shoots and I’m fine with that. It used to be that a LEO could legally shoot a fleeing suspect, not any more. Too bad. As a taxpayer I have a fortune invested in our cops, and I don’t want to see anything happen to them. Support your local police!
PANAMA PAPERS: Why did Maltese authorities release suspects on bail who had previous criminal records? Don’t they remand dangerous repeat offenders?
PIMPING MINISTER: LOL. You can’t make this stuff up. Too funny.
CANADA: Quote from article: “We believe the NSLC is best positioned to sell cannabis, keeping it out of the hands of young people and making it legally available in a safe, regulated way.”

What are these loons smoking? It’s gotta be a helluva lot stronger than weed to think like this.

I’m one of the half dozen or so people in North America who has never smoked dope. As a teenager, my drugs of choice were gunpowder and sperm.

      1. Was a reply to “Down Under” by the way but the reply thing doesn’t seem to work on mobile.

  3. It’s really bad if colleges are asking about sexual orientation and gender identity in their application form, it’s like this US Immigration form you fill in the plane that asks you if you are gay. I think everybody, gay or straight or bi, should leave these probably illegal questions unanswered.

Plus there is no way that the college can guarantee that these personal questions won’t get leaked out some day, involuntarily outing people.

This was my comment to the lgbtqnation article:

This looks like the most awkward and horrible way to increase student diversity that they could devise, especially since it’s the first contact students have with their college. Why not make diversity and safe haven a mission statement on their application form instead of asking such personal questions?

And mixing up sexual orientation and gender identity in the same question? This education establishment has a long way to show that they understand what they are talking about. I suppose there is also a question asking if the student is Latino, German, Black or Trisomic. Oh wait, maybe that was the question they asked, after all.

  4. re: Study: Study: LGBT people of color suffer double discrimination

LGBT white atheists suffer DOUBLE discrimination.
LGBT atheists of color suffer TRIPLE discrimination.

  5. I’m surprised that you didn’t include that Australia as well now has same-sex marriage — and maybe with some commentary about the “mail-in poll” just before their Parliamentary vote in favor.
