  1. “”Parents make young gay people homeless at a dramatic rate

New US attorney gen. unchanged in hostility to queer rights

Texas judge suspends Obamacare’s transgender protections

Trans boy, 8, kicked out of Scouts after parents complained””

All of that is just a start. Things will get worse.

Now how did that Golden Rule go again?

    1. @Old Dan
“Now how did that Golden Rule go again?”

~I like this lady’s thoughts on the matter.
“When you’re kind to people, and you pay attention, you make a field of comfort around them, and you get it back—the Golden Rule meets the Law of Karma meets Murphy’s Law.”
      ― Anne Lamott

~I also imagine looking in a mirror when thinking less of someone, most often my opinion changes; save for Trump of course…
He’s just straight up full of💩!

  2. PARENTS > I could never throw my kids out of the house for something as silly as being gay. However, if they converted to Islam, or became Democrats … tough call.

SESSIONS> Sessions: “I will ensure civil rights protections for African-Americans, women and LGBT people if attorney general.” End of story.

TEXAS JUDGE > Obamacare’s days are numbered, so this will soon be a moot point.

SCOUTS > Cub Scouts is for boys. Not girls who make believe they’re boys, or wanna be boys, or identify as boys. Just real boys. This kid’s a mental case and the Scouts aren’t interested in being dragged into co-dependency, or subsidizing his derangement.

GOLDEN GLOBE > Congratulations! Keep up the good work.

UK SURVEILLANCE > Her Majesty signed this into law, don’t count on the Queen’s Bench to throw it out.

SESSIONS & OBSCENITY > The Trump Election Derangement Syndrome is strong here. Relax. He’s only thinking about it. And he really only cares about exploited kids.

VIRTUAL REALITY > You pays your money, you takes your chances. Enjoy.

TUMBLR > Ha ha, and Sessions duzzint even work there. Go figure.

SWEDEN > It must be nice to have a superpower protect you, so you only need a small military, and you have money for this stuff. Sweden needs to deal with the Mohammedan horde that has half-taken-over Stockholm. I hear there are already no-go zones in the city where non-Muslims dare not go, not even the police, and Sharia courts are allowed to operate.

    1. and so the paranoid worm inside horses’ head live on

re: cubs/scouts in the UK (where it got started)

      Quote:

      Gender

The [UK] Scout Association is committed to supporting all young people reach their full potential and become confident, responsible citizens. Girls have been members of The Scout Association for over 40 years, with all Sections becoming co-educational in 2007. Today, girls and women account for over 25% of the total membership and Scouting is the largest mixed youth organisation in the UK.

      Read more about some of the inspirational girls and women who are already enjoying Scouting;

Meet Vera Barclay, the inspiration co-founder of Cubs

Co-education in Scouting means that all young people are given the opportunity understand and empathise with both girls and boys. We believe the best way to promote gender equality is to have Sections that are mixed, open to both girls and boys at all levels.

Scouting become fully co-education on 1st January 2007.

    2. “SESSIONS> Sessions: “I will ensure civil rights protections for African-Americans, women and LGBT people if attorney general.” End of story.”

No it’s not. He’s a pathological liar, just like Trump. He will grab at any — and I mean ANYTHING — that even LOOKS LIKE an “opening” to reverse any and all legislation on the books for giving equal rights for gays or transgenders.

He’s a far-right religious — They only learned how to LIE about everything that’s “not in sync” with them.

      1. If you believe what you wrote, then HIDE! Get under your bed and stay there. As for me, there’s a gun show this weekend, and I’ll be there. Let freedom ring!
Eight more days, and then our 8 year vacation from reality is over. Back to work, people, time to make America great again!

        1. cos what you really need is another gun horsey

Oh yeah, and your incoming president can bankrupt the rest of the country like he did to the guys in Atlantic City. You do know Trump is a synonym for fart in the UK.

A real man of the people who was saved by his dad buying £10m dollars worth of chips in his casino one night…

        2. @Horselips
~Normally I won’t touch politics with a ten foot pole but in this case I’ll make an exception…
The only one Tweety Bird Trump sees in the mirror is himself, the only opinion he trusts is his own and even that can’t be trusted.
In his mind he’s #1, the only one and everyone else is wrong. He no more cares about the United States than Putin cares about Russia.
To Trump this is just another TV show; problem is there’s no plot, no script, no director, no budget, and only one star who’s a straight up megalomaniac.
He’s not just a threat to America, he’s a threat to the world…

        3. Wait till Sessions sends the FBI after Milkboys, plants fake evidence and calls it a “Sex Ring”, gets Horsey’s IP address and hauls him and the rest of us all into lockup. If you think not, you should learn the history of NAMBLA, and how the Left and the Right together worked to abuse human rights. And the Left and Right thought they were making America Great Again by attacking a common “enemy”, us. What Horsey doesn’t know is that the even though the Left has been eating us for lunch, the Right is going to eat him and all of us for dinner.

          1. This is why I don’t believe ephebophiles – gay, bi or straight – have any obligation to support LGBT rights as they are propagated nowadays.

      2. Sessions is totally sincere, he will protect LGBT people, because he profoundly believes that the best way to protect them means sending them to therapy so they can become what God WDNE intended to.

And we’ll need less sissies and more real strong men to build that Mexican wall. Real strong shirtless tanned men, see, even gays support Trump now… ;)

      1. @Keiran215

Simply put, if you need to put your hand on any religious book to be in office you are in a theocracy, final.

    3. horsey:

Why is it you (far-)right wingers (who like to call yourselves “conservative” but aren’t) always “reach” for your guns — either figuratively, metaphorically or literally — whenever you’re confronted with your prejudices, failures, or just plain ignorance of life the same way you all “reach” for your “god”?

You constantly do that. Everytime ANYONE, EVERYONE calls you out on your LIES and produce EVIDENCE & PROOF about everything in life, you immediately call for your “god” and guns.

Are they your “blankeys”? or just thumbs to suck on?

    4. Sessions is one of the key architects of the repressive treatment against men convicted of sex offenses against boys, and you’re defending him. The people who you’re thinking are delivering you from the Left are going to eat you for dinner.

  3. And can Horsey please explain the whole wall thing?

After all that wall thing worked so well for the Romans keeping the Scots out of whatever they called England then, for the East Germans until it was taken down (cos nobody wanted it), and now for the Israelis (ditto?). I suppose the Great Wall of China did keep the Chinese in, for quite a while, though I am not sure that was the intention.

Have you visited Mexico? Lovely place, I thought. Sort of like the USA, but with an ancient culture and good food.

Also, if you do want to create jobs shouldn’t you build the wall yourselves?

    1. “Also, if you do want to create jobs shouldn’t you build the wall yourselves?”

Trump just wants Mexico to PAY FOR IT — not actually build it. Of course, Mexico has told him several times they have no intention of paying for it.

      1. More precisely, Trump says he will appropriate $25B from Congress (i.e. from American tax payers) in April to build the wall, and he assures Congress that he will personally make Mexico pay it back.

After his mandate I’m sure, as Trump, not being one of them, despises tax payers, these suckers!

    2. The wall needn’t be thought of as a purely masonry construct – a thousand mile long pile of bricks and rocks. The wall is figuratively whatever it takes to secure the border from illegal entry. It can be a real wall in some places, like the wildly successful wall built years ago between San Diego-Chula Vista and Tijuana, it can be an area heavily patrolled by drones, it can be observation towers packed with cameras, or whatever. I would like to see the actual work of construction done by jail and prison inmates. Hard labor builds character and is highly therapeutic. Good workers would be given credit reducing their sentences.

If I had my druthers, it would be two mine fields framed in barbed wire, about a mile apart, with lots of grizzly bears, mountain lions, wolves, komodo dragons and other venomous reptiles between them.

In any case, the “wall” will be a layered defense, appropriate to the various environments that exist along the border. One way or another, sooner or later, Mexico will pay or reimburse the USA for the cost of the wall, but I am sure the expense of manning it will fall to us. Money very well spent.

One more feature the wall will have – big wide gates. America was made great by trade and legal immigration, and to make America great again, we’ll need and want lots of both. But, as in the past, immigration was conditional on the needs of the nation, not the needs of immigrants. We welcomed folks who came with skills and education, and intentions to make all our lives better, not just their own, who came eager to fully assimilate as Americans, not exist in a subculture of hyphenated multiculturalism, clinging to foreign languages and the failed cultures they had just fled from, and who came ready and able to sustain themselves, not with outstretched hands demanding welfare and freebies, but only for liberty and capitalist opportunity.

      1. “The wall is figuratively whatever it takes to secure the border from illegal entry.”

So, Americans can just IMAGINE a “wall” that keeps the illegals out … and … Mexicans can just IMAGINE a “wall” they won’t cross to come in illegally.

“If I had my druthers, it would be two mine fields framed in barbed wire, about a mile apart, with lots of grizzly bears, mountain lions, wolves, komodo dragons and other venomous reptiles between them.”

So all those grizzly bears, mountain lions, wolves, komodo dragons and other venomous reptiles can just blow themselves up as they wander around this DMZ stepping in those two mine fields framed in barbed wire?

“One way or another, sooner or later, Mexico will pay or reimburse the USA for the cost of the wall,”

        KEEP DREAMING.

        1. The “wall” also includes such esoteric features as new laws providing for the immediate repatriation of illegals caught in crossing, and reform of the entire immigration jurisprudence system currently hopelessly inundated with cases.

Penboy – the barbed wire is on both sides of the minefields, and would keep the animals away from the mines. They would feed on any resourceful illegals who got that far.

      2. BTW, until the Roman legions garrisoning Britain and manning the wall were withdrawn in 410 A.D. to help defend Gaul and Italy, Hadrian’s wall was very successful. The raids of the barbarian Picts and Scots were stopped, and through the many gates a vigorous and peaceful trade developed. Very few people survived the attempt to cross the Berlin Wall, the Germans trapped within were generally resigned to their fate until the USSR came unglued. The Great Wall of China did work for a time, but the cost of defending its length was unsustainable. The wall Israel built to control Palestinian terrorism has been enormously successful, greatly reducing the number and scale of attacks. Nothing’s perfect of course, but well designed walls, to keep folks either in or out, are viable.

      3. Who are these people who you think are not assimilating? There was NEVER any era in which immigration differed much than it does now. Immigrants have always kept their home language in the house, their children have always become American and assimilated, and they don’t take up “welfare and freebies” moreso than in the past and not moreso than poor non-immigrants. Your vision of the past is completely fictitious.

        1. @Wordworth (and others who insist on clinging to political correctness to avoid the facts and truth):
“Who are these people who you think are not assimilating?”

That’s a very complex question and as well, a somewhat complex answer assuming you need to hang on to political correctness because you don’t like the true answers; “they’re nasty”.

For every immigrant minority, there will always be a variable portion that simply will not assimilate into their new society. And as an immigrant population increases … either in raw numbers or within a particular location … those that won’t assimilate grow in number proportionate to their populace.

Just name an immigrant populace — Mexicans, El Salvadorans, Russians, Africans, Middle-Easterners, etc. — there will always be some that won’t assimilate because they refuse to “give up” their previous cultures to favor the new cultures. That definitely includes languages, socializing and a varied number of other customs … including religion(s) and their sects.

We have this problem throughout the USA as Europe is having with their current immigrant crisis today and into the future.

        2. QUOTE:> “There was NEVER any era in which immigration differed much than it does now.”

Sure it did. Back then, immigrants were legal. Nowadays, many, if not most immigrants are illegal aliens who either criminally entered the nation or unlawfully overstayed their visas. And in the past, immigrants didn’t rush across the border to have anchor babies which instantly qualifies them for all sorts of welfare entitlements.

As far as I’m concerned, illegal entry is the one “aw shit” that cancels out any and all “attaboys.” I am unforgiving of their offenses and disinterested in any of their contributions.

Relax. I’m sure to lose this one. Even The Donald will eventually cave to some sort of legalization or even wholesale amnesty, and if not him, certainly his successor whoever that is.

    3. @Fbfb

“”I suppose the Great Wall of China did keep the Chinese in, for quite a while, though I am not sure that was the intention. “”

Actually it was about Fair Trade.

Outside The Great Wall slaves were being used to do the hard and dirty work. The problem is that they were “home grown”. You had to wait quite a few years before they could be useful as slaves. Part of the cost was the food and diapers that came with producing those slaves. Meanwhile, China didn’t have that problem. They had a one child only policy while still having enough people production to turn some of those as slaves. When they sold them, due to proprietary money devaluation, they could sell slaves to the other side of The Great Wall for a far lower cost than it cost to outsiders to produce them.

      Hope that helps. :-P
