  1. That French politician and his boyfriend can’t be gay, have you seen how they dress up? ;)

  2. re: Latvian Foreign Minister announces via Twitter that he is gay

Uh, oh. Latvia is awfully close to Russia. I’m sure Putin will have something to say about this …. or he just might blame Latvia for making him take off his shirt so often.

  3. My god, it sounds like England is overrun with pedophiles. Apparently all single people in England have been found to want to diddle the kiddies.

  4. Bill in US state would allow doctors to refuse treating gays patients

[McCoy has been ordered to help a silicon-based life form]

McCoy: You can’t be serious. That thing is virtually made out of stone!

Captain James T. Kirk: Help it. Treat it.

    McCoy: I’m a doctor, not a bricklayer.

    Captain James T. Kirk: You’re a healer. There’s a patient. That’s an order.

      1. Thanks for the compliment. I guess that I simply couldn’t help it because that scene from Star Trek was the first thing that came to my mind.

Still, that there would be a bill like that one is as obscene as it gets and, even more, absolutely morally wrong. If that bill passes then it will be perfectly acceptable not to treat someone based upon his or her religion, colour, nationality, or hell why not, political allegiance.

The Hippocratic Oath has within it the following lines.

“” whatever may be the rank of those who it may be my duty to cure, whether mistress or servant, bond or free.””

Later, in the 19th century, the “Do No Harm” was added. Anyway here’s the wiki link to that oath.

    1. And the good doctor patched the Horta’s wound with concrete. This blog is going where no milkboy has gone before…

  5. Long list of sex acts, including fisting, spanking now banned in the UK

And we used to laugh at the catholic church imposing its missionary position.

    1. Actually, the headline is misleading. Those acts are only banned in UK-MADE PORN, that’s a big difference. You can still spank and fist your partner should the fancy take you, but you cannot publish a film of it.

  6. LATVIAN MINISTER > We’re everywhere!
    FRENCH POLITICIAN > We’re everywhere!
MICHIGAN > The Left has waged a non-stop war on Christianity, religious liberty, and even the Christmas holiday for decades. Welcome to the counter-attack. No healthcare provider ever refused to treat a homosexual patient, or even gave it a thought, until the attack on religious liberty crossed a few too many lines. Everybody was doing just fine until atheistic liberals zeroed in on the separation of church and state, and ignored the rest of the sentence – the free exercise thereof. Free means exactly that. But don’t panic, this bill won’t pass.
BORN THAT WAY > Once again, all hype. No concrete conclusions. And again I warn – be careful what you wish for. If science ever finally concludes that homosexuality is genetic, and finds the actual gene. parents will have their offspring genetically ‘cured’ in the womb, and that will be the end of gay humans. And you’re worried about GMO veggies? Worry about us fruits!
STRAIGHTS & GAY PDA > Patience, people. Some need more time than others. It’ll be fine.
NSA > We’re at war. Get used to it. Get over it. And hope to God the terrorists don’t succeed in staging another major attack.
BANNED SEX IN UK PORN > Two steps forward, one step back, repeat as often as necessary. I fisted a guy once. I couldn’t help thinking about the yacht his health insurance company was eventually going to buy for his proctologist.
US ISP > Huh? This stuff is way above my pay grade. All I know is I turn on my computer, and it’s all good.
HARD WORK > Flush that study. My son and my daughter studied hard, work smart, and both are clearing 6 figures a year. They’re living large and loving it. It can be done, it’s being done. So quit your bitching and just do it.
BANNED SINGLES > We’re everywhere! This is the same logic used for gun-control – ban single people (and guns) because of the potential for something bad happening. It’s a bullshit argument founded on the concept of prior restraint. If this is allowed to stand, almost anyone or anything can be banned because of what might happen.

There is so much hypocrisy in that quote that it’s staggering and mind blowing. Actually a flagrant intellectual lie. I’m an atheist and even so I find that bill disgusting. Bigots come in both in at least three flavors, religious, atheist and agnostic. No matter in what flavor they came from it still makes them bigots. So, blaming atheists shows a bias bordering slander.

    2. @horsey:

“The Left has waged a non-stop war on Christianity, religious liberty, and even the Christmas holiday for decades.”

That entire post was nothing but partisan stupidity. “The Left” has never “raged” any war (as in “offense”) with you religious freaks. No, for us (the proud atheists), it’s always been defense. It’s YOU, the idiotic religious right whose been “raging” any war (offense). But, by your post, you’re too arrogant to accept and understand the simple truth.

“… until the attack on religious liberty crossed a few too many lines.”

Again, arrogant stupidity. We have never “attacked” any “religious liberty” … in fact, it’s quite the opposite. You freaks have and have always had your precious religious liberty. That has never changed.

“Everybody was doing just fine until atheistic liberals zeroed in on the separation of church and state, and ignored the rest of the sentence …”

Again, absolute stupidity of American History. No, it’s not atheistic liberals who “zero in on the separation of church and state” but instead, (gues who??) the “Framers” or our Founding Fathers — do you at all remember Thomas Jefferson and James Madison (among a few others)? And as far as that sentence is concerned, do you have any knowledge of how to read any ENGLISH, LEGAL documents? Let me refresh your memory: TOP to BOTTOM and then LEFT to RIGHT. Does that ring any bells in your small religious mind, little churchmouse? BEFORE you get to any “prohibiting the free exercise thereof”, you must first acknowledge the FIRST PART, of “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion“, which even an 8th grader should understand, FREEDOM FROM [ANY] RELIGION in the “public square” including PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

horsey, you really need to learn BASIC American History and stop making a damn religious fool of yourself.

    3. horsey,

Anytime you need, just give me a “nod” and I’ll be happy to present you with absolute positive proof that:

      1) There is NO “god” — and NEVER WAS,

      2) ALL the major “characters” of that lying bible including, of course, “jesus christ” …

was a total fabrication — i.e., NEVER EXISTED.

  7. I’m in favour of heterosexual rights, too, but I find it somewhat nauseating when the couple are all over each other like a rash in a public place. I’m not overly keen on seeing a couple of blokes licking each other’s tonsils, either.

A hug, a cuddle, hand holding, or a peck on the lips, that’s a different matter.

I’m just old fashioned, I think

    1. @It’s Only Me

I have to agree. In busy public places it’s inappropriate for couples to be going at it and ‘snogging it out’. It’s impolite because it basically says they don’t care if others find it offensive or not, and yet at the same time they’re purposely putting on a public demonstration that basically says, “Look at us, we’re so great”. I have nothing against a quick peck on a cheek or holding hands.
