  1. The only criticisms I have with this are:

    1. The weird ANGLE of this photo

    and

    2. Dude, can’t you find a better looking case for your phone?

    :-)

  2. I like his attempt at being creative. It almost required that he shoot across the angle to get all of him in the picture. Very attractive.

    1. Every organization isn’t for everybody. If they don’t want to invite atheists and agnostics, fine. Start your own Scouting program, and feel free to disqualify folks of faith from participating. It isn’t about discrimination, it’s about freedom, and freedom of association.

There are lots of youth and adult organizations that forbid participation of atheists and agnostics. To join DeMolay or Job’s Daughters, join a Mormon mission program, or any of a zillion other youth groups, you must be a true believer. And forget Opus Dei, being a Freemason, a Rosicrucian or a Knight of Columbus or even joining some Elks lodges unless you believe. There are, of course, many more fraternities and organizations that have faith as a prerequisite for membership.

MYOB. Live your own life, never mind what other people do in their private clubs.

      1. @horsey (did your daddy force you to the trough to drink their style of kool-aid?):
“Every organization isn’t for everybody. If they don’t want to invite atheists and agnostics, fine.”

You still don’t get it (just like every other stupid religious idiot). For the very same reasons that they “gave in” to allowing gays (first gay scouts, now, finally, gay leaders), they need to allow non-believers. I know this is a very difficult concept for you fundies to grasp, but, in fact, every human is born absolute atheist, but you feel you have to brainwash and force all that religious bullshit upon innocent children and therefore begin the ruin of their lives.

        1. They BSA and GSA gave in to gay boys, girls, and leaders maybe because it has dawned on enough of them that homosexuality is more nature than nurture, more fate than choice. But that has nothing to do with having to suck up to pain-in-the-ass atheists and waffling, fence-sitting agnostics.

One major tenet of all successful fraternities, clubs and organizations is that brotherly love prevails, and there is no appetite for, or toleration of, discord of any kind between members.

YOU, my dear, dear Penboy, are, now and then, a tad discordant (dontcha think?). And you’re also an atheist. So, keep to yourself, and stay far, far away from those secret societies, fraternities, clubs and organizations that have no patience for opinionated temperaments like yours. Enjoy.

          1. I know it’s really really late for this reply, BUT, the GSA has NEVER had a discriminatory policy like the BSA. Neither has the 4H, or FFA.

      2. @horsey:

        As presented here: http://www.scoutingbsa.org/Council_Info/Leadership/Scouting_Mission/Mission.html

The official Charter of the Boy Scouts of America states:
“The purpose of this corporation shall be to promote, through organization and cooperation with other agencies, the ability of boys to do things for themselves and others, to train them in Scoutcraft, and to teach them patriotism, courage, self-reliance, and kindred virtues, using methods which are now in common use by the Boy Scouts.”

The Mission of the Boy Scouts of America:
“It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America to serve others by helping to instill values in young people and, in other ways, to prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime in achieving their full potential.

So, horsey, just where is it that says ATHEISTS cannot:

promote, through organization and cooperation with other agencies, the ability of boys to do things for themselves and others?

to teach patriotism, courage, self-reliance, and kindred virtues, using methods which are now in common use [in most of America]?

serve others by helping to instill values in young people?

prepare them to make ethical choices during their lifetime in achieving their full potential?

        .

“One major tenet of all successful fraternities, clubs and organizations is that brotherly love prevails …”

And, Atheists are unable to understand and express brotherly love? Do you seriously believe that bullshit? You think that *I* can’t express love for another in an organization of peers?

        .

It’s just living hell for fundies like you to be wrong about groups of people, isn’t it?

        1. @Lord Penboy

☞Well you can’t seem to here but then again since you’re a Lord and we’re just commoners in your view than I suppose that’s just the way it is and will remain.
You truly do stand alone Sir.

“Well you can’t seem to here but then again since you’re a Lord and we’re just commoners in your view than I suppose that’s just the way it is and will remain.”

THAT shows the true level of stupidity you continue to present to us on a nearly daily basis. You’re “offended” by the constant ACCURACY of my anti-“god” posts so you “conclude” that I can’t have any love toward anyone? You are truly just as stupid as all those religious-right idiots.

          .

“You truly do stand alone Sir.”

NO, YOU DO with your total idiocy — it’s unmatched on this blog.

          1. “You are truly just as stupid as all those religious-right idiots.”
“NO, YOU DO with your total idiocy — it’s unmatched on this blog.”

            Case in point!

    2. “I just saw this:
Boy Scouts end blanket ban on gay adult leaders, employees…..”

@ Penboy: Although it was nice to see this info., it’s completely off-topic to Mirror Monday *10.
If you wish to comment on topics and things of interest that have no relevance to a blog post, why don’t you use the board for your comments? You certainly had no trouble doing that on the old board.

      1. @daveboy:
“If you wish to comment on topics and things of interest that have no relevance to a blog post, why don’t you use the board for your comments?”

The “relevance” is this was the most recent blog post when I found this information and posting, passes information on to those who might not use the board.

As far as being so “off-topic,” it’s up to josh to delete said post if he feels that way, not for someone like you to bitch about it.

Speaking of which, while we (josh & I) may disagree on who “saw it first,” I brought to the attention of all here the plight of the [gay?] Moscovites walking around town holding hands. Which is the entire intent of me making such posts.

      2. @daveboy:
“Although it was nice to see this info., it’s completely off-topic …”

Just how is it “completely off-topic” to post something about gay teens on a blog for gay teens? Would love to read your “logic” on that.

  3. When considering Growers versus Showers, with Growers it’s always a crap shoot, while with Showers, you can at least be sure it isn’t going to get any smaller.

  4. Very nice unmarred skin. Lots of it and not a tattoo in sight. Very nice. Glad to see a lot of skin and unnecessary to have changed it by covering it. Just a comment is all.
    Nice straight hair too.

  5. “Just how is it “completely off-topic” to post something about gay teens on a blog for gay teens? Would love to read your “logic” on that.”

    @Penboy:

Your post referred to the changes in the Boy Scouts in the USA now allowing gay leaders, etc. How is that in any way relevant to comments about a NSFW selfie taken in a bathroom?

    Please enlighten me.

  6. AGAIN, since you didn’t read it the first time (obviously) ……

“The “relevance” is this was the most recent blog post when I found this information and posting, passes information on to those who might not use the board.”

I didn’t say it was relevant to the comments in this thread …. get it now?

Read many comments lately? i.e., stop bitching.

  7. “Read many comments lately? i.e., stop bitching.”

    @Penboy (minus the X ):

My replies to you definitely indicates I’ve read your comments. What the hell is the matter with you? Please, in the future use the BOARD to comment on issues that are completely off topic here by making a proper thread, and stop the fuck spamming the BLOG.

  8. sorry, i’m not every day reading MB. Let’s return to the picture. Is it photoshopped ?? The main item on the pic looks artificially long
